This beautifully-crafted piece of furniture is very versatile:
it can act both as a sideboard or side table
and as a storage box (e.g. for sewing material, linen, magazines or whatever).

It was made during the 1960s by Sika Møbler, a Danish manufacturer producing hand-made furniture.

The piece is made of solid teak wood (except for the two bottom shelves which are laminated).

The corner joints look great and point to the maker’s skill. The top slides open and reveals the storage space.
There is also a shelf inside, sub-divided into 3 compartments for small items.

The piece is in very good condition indeed with minor, negligible traces of use.
